Knowing Containers Inside Out Since 2015

Uskont is an Istanbul-based container services company that brings inspection, repair and modification together under one roof. The core of our work is simple: finding the best solution for every container need you have.

Our Story

Expertise Built in the Field

Uskont was founded in Istanbul in 2015 and has been working in the field in the container industry ever since. We serve a wide range of customers — from freight forwarders to shipping operators, from leasing companies to individuals who want to turn a container into a café.

Our workshop has an inspector certified by the IICL (Institute of International Container Lessors) on staff; we carry out our inspections to IICL and ISO standards and document every finding in a photo report. Both sides of our work are held to the same measure: doing the repair right and reporting the condition accurately.

We run our modification work under our modifiTAINER brand, and engineer every conversion so that the container keeps its structural integrity.

Our Standards

What the Standards We Work To Mean

Listing acronyms is easy — we would rather explain what each standard means for you.

IICL

The maintenance and repair standard of the international container leasing industry; our workshop has an IICL-certified inspector on staff. What it means for you: our repairs are carried out to the criteria accepted by the world's largest container fleets.

ISO / CSC

Container identification and safety standards. What it means for you: our inspections document your container's fitness for international transport against these standards.

How We Work

The Approach That Sets Us Apart

No work handed over without documentation

Every inspection comes with a report, every repair is recorded with photos. Documents, not promises.

If needed, we tell you "don't do it"

We will not sell a repair on a container that is not worth repairing; an honest assessment builds long-term trust.

Speed is not a courtesy, it is a commitment

We respond to quote requests within 12 hours — and we keep that promise.

The same care for one container or a whole fleet

There is no difference in service quality between an individual customer and a corporate fleet.
