Container Sales and Purchase: What We Offer
Uskont sells new and used 20ft and 40ft standard containers, 40ft high cubes, reefer containers and office containers, and also buys used containers. Used containers are offered in three condition classes: cargo-worthy (CW), wind and watertight (WWT) and as is. A container we sell can be delivered with an inspection report or a CSC plate. The service is available across Türkiye, on request.
Condition Classes for Used Containers
Used containers are assessed in three classes according to their intended use; the definitions follow common industry usage.
Cargo-Worthy (CW)
Structurally sound and watertight; fit for carrying cargo. International transport also requires a valid CSC plate.
Wind and Watertight (WWT)
Keeps out wind and water; suitable for static uses such as storage. Fitness for carrying cargo is assessed separately.
As Is
May be damaged and is sold in the condition seen; can be bought for repair or modification.
