Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), this notice explains how we process the personal data you send us through uskont.com, WhatsApp and e-mail. The Turkish version is the binding text.

1. Personal data we process

• Identity: name and surname
• Contact: phone / WhatsApp number, e-mail address (optional), company name (optional)
• Customer transaction: the service you request, container type, the content of your message, the language of the page you used
• Transaction security: access logs such as IP address and browser information created by our hosting infrastructure when you visit the site

2. Purposes

• Assessing your quote request and getting back to you
• Communicating with you about the service you request
• Keeping the website secure and preventing misuse

3. Legal grounds

• Processing is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c))
• Processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller (KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)) — website security and access logs

We do not rely on your explicit consent for this processing, and your data is not used for marketing or profiling.

4. Transfers

Your data is transferred only for the purposes above, to the infrastructure providers we use:

Your data is transferred to the providers listed in the table above, whose servers may be located outside Türkiye. Work is under way to complete the safeguards required for these transfers under Article 9 of the KVKK. Apart from this, your data is not shared with third parties, sold, or used for marketing.

5. How we collect data

We collect your data electronically, by non-automated means, when you fill in the forms on our website or write to us on WhatsApp or by e-mail.

6. Retention

Our website does not store form data; your request is forwarded by e-mail. Requests in our mailbox are kept for 5 years and then deleted.

7. Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information if it is; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred; to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; to request its erasure or destruction under KVKK Art. 7; to request that these actions be notified to the recipients; to object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

8. How to apply

You can send your request in writing to [email protected] or to the postal address above. We will respond free of charge within 30 days at the latest; if the request involves an additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
